Conditions for cultivating yeast are:

1. Nutrition

Yeast, like other living organisms, needs similar nutrients. Like bacteria, it has a set of intracellular and extracellular enzyme systems to break down macromolecular substances into small molecular substances that are easy for cell metabolism to use. They belong to heterotrophic organisms.

2. Acidity

Yeast can grow in the range of PH value from 3.0 to 7.5, and the optimal pH value is 4.5 to 5.0.

3. Moisture

Like bacteria, yeast must have water to survive, but yeast requires less water than bacteria, and some yeast can grow in environments with very little water, such as honey and jam, which shows that they are quite resistant to osmotic pressure Acceptability.

4. Temperature

At temperatures below the freezing point of water or above 47°C, yeast cells generally cannot grow, and the optimal growth temperature is generally between 20 and 30°C.
